Look to ACME if you need to .....

... get more effective, efficient budgeting and forecasting based on a single version of the truth—and a streamlined, standardized process. You’ve grown weary of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans that give you little confidence in the direction of your business. Inconsistent information, varying levels of detail, and disparate processes across your organization make your business planning cycle fragmented, time-consuming, and expensive. Today’s business planning applications facilitate reliable, relevant, and timely information and a simplified planning process. That way, your people spend more time analyzing and planning, rather than administering, and you get information upon which you can act.

For example:
How many Excel spreadsheets does it take to create a forecast? For an international biotechnology company, the answer was too many to count. Unfortunately, that led to a perception of low value, even lower staying power, and a process focused on data collection rather than analysis and quality.

The project: Jason Schultz worked with his client to design, develop, and deploy an organization-wide, Web-based rolling forecast application, a reengineered, standardized forecast process designed to improve consistency while allowing for business unit differences, and a training curriculum to ensure that all forecast users were on the same page of the spreadsheet.

The result: A 40% decrease in rolling forecast cycle time; more timely, relevant, and reliable forecast information; significantly increased time for data analysis; and a management team that believed in—and could act on—the results.
