Todd Holland
Todd understands business, literally from the ground up. In his youth, he toiled long hours in tobacco fields in his home state of Kentucky, learning the value of hard work and self-motivation. Later in life he was an early developer of Internet technologies, helping companies connect with their customers in ways never before thought possible – think “browser wars!” With an entrepreneurial spirit and an optimistic attitude, Todd is a pioneer in the ways of delivering opportunity and innovation.
Todd’s professional career began at Accenture before serving as vice president at Teach for America. While there he was responsible for the central operations of teacher training institutes supporting more than 3,000 beginning teachers. He later went on to serve as a consultant for National Public Radio, successfully delivering two major platform and technical infrastructure releases so hundreds of content producers and broadcast stations around the globe could access the Public Radio Satellite System. Whether it's project planning and implementation, business development and strategy, or technology and process design, Todd has the experience and problem-solving skills necessary to deliver results. Todd earned a master’s degree in international relations at John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy from Duke University.
Todd grew up in a small town in the Bluegrass State, where his extended family has lived for more than 150 years. True to his country roots, he can entertain a crowd on both the harmonica and banjo. He also happens to be fluent in Spanish and well on his way to speaking Portuguese as well. When he’s not at home in Portland, Oregon, Todd’s likely pioneering his way through South and Central America.
