Sara Fritsch
If at first you don’t succeed, keep running. Sara Fritsch keeps after things - big things in fact, like Boston Marathon qualifications and mechanical engineering degrees. After 11 years of determined training and effort, Sara earned her qualification to compete in the sought-after race, but don’t expect her to slow down after its completion. She thrives on having lots of balls in the air. From kids to work to running and house projects, Sara has mastered the art of balanced juggling.
Sara’s ability to set goals, adjust actions and try harder has led her to not only her personal accomplishments but those in her professional life as well. Sara joined ACME in 2006, after spending six years working in the financial services industry at Accenture. She has deep experience in transition management and mergers and acquisitions. At ACME, Sara played the lead role in a major multi-year, international merger that required the successful implementation of common and consistent business processes across the newly expanded global enterprise. The successful outcome was the result of continued perseverance and an unrelenting positive attitude. Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in studio art from the University of Vermont. “My heart is an artist, but my head is an engineer!”
Sara and her family are settled in Portland where they are forever remodeling and decorating their treasured old home, built in1892. But when they aren’t at home, you can find them on the slopes – quite truly. Every weekend and holiday between December and April is spent on Mt. Hood, skiing, snowboarding and hiking. For Sara life is one great adventure not to be missed. On your mark, get set, go!
