Genevieve Priebe
What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, right? Well, then Genevieve Priebe might just live forever. "If it scares me, and probably won't kill me, I'll usually try it," she quips. What most would consider an extreme Bucket List, Genevieve has actually done. Skydiving, paragliding, trapeze flying, floating the Mekong River, going on safari in Tanzania, diving with great white sharks off the coast of South Africa - if you can dream it, chances are she's done it. Think we're kidding? Not so much. She has scaled the peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Rainier, is training for her first Ironman and flew a faux-combat mission in an Italian fighter plane. For Genevieve, not even the sky is the limit.
Just as she does in her personal life, Genevieve is masterful at guiding companies through their own extreme experiences. The senior project leader and former Accenture consultant has more than 11 years of experience helping both mid-market and Fortune 500 clients navigate corporate jungles. The point person for everything from go-to-market strategies to business optimization, Genevieve is adept at business and technology program management, solution development and implementation, and organizational transformation. She is also an excellent communicator. Something she attributes, in part, to her tenure at a health services firm where she worked closely with legislators, lobbyists and trade association presidents. Genevieve began her career at the Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation; today she is known for her expertise in the retail, IT, telecommunications, healthcare and nonprofit sectors.
A Montana native, Genevieve credits growing up on a farm with a thrill-seeking older brother for her love of adventure. After packing a "survival kit" - consisting of a butter knife, needle and thread, some chocolate, and a bit of string - they would trek through the woods and try to find shelter, edible plants, and places to hide from enemies. Now a Seattle resident, Genevieve continues scoping out her next challenge, with her dog Maxx by her side. Whatever that challenge might be, our bet's on her.
