Brad Denney

Brad has spent a fair piece of his life way out in left field. Literally. Brad lettered in basketball, football and baseball, was recruited by colleges in all three, and chose baseball assuming (since he could walk in fact) that he would someday go to the show. Left field is a judgment position – you hear the crack of the bat, see the ball start to rise towards you and then force yourself to wait for one very brief instant. Charge forward too soon, and you  find yourself backpedaling. Back up too soon and you're looking at a diving catch to make the play. You make fast decisions out in left  – but you gather as much information as you can before you do. It's more like being in a conference room leading a project than you might think.

Thankfully, Brad never made it to the show. He chose academics and then business consulting. From his sophomore year through grad school at the University of Kansas he made the Dean's List. Andersen saw the combination of grit, hard work and smarts, and snatched him up immediately. Like a batter who spends time in the cage in February, Brad has continued formal training with Oracle, JD Edwards Financial Training – the list goes on. Brad has deep experience in software selections and implementations, business process assessments and redesigns and project management. In his baseball days, Brad batted 3rd or 4th – which is to say he was there to finish the job. Drive the runners home. He's brought his quick (but informed) decision making skills and ability to get the job done to bear on projects for Microsoft, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Tanimura & Antle, Coldwater Creek, and PDX local companies like  Schnitzer Steel and Banfield The Pet Hospital.

When he's not consulting, Brad still plays sports. A little baseball now and then, some pick-up basketball. He also snowboards, hikes, is a United Cancer Society supporter, and a member of City Club of Portland. The boy from Hutchinson is definitely not in Kansas anymore.
