ACME BUSINESS CONSULTING EARNS COVETED LIGHTHOUSE AWARD FROM PORTLAND BUSINESS JOURNAL

Recognition represents consulting firm’s outstanding growth for five years running

Portland, Ore. - July 6, 2010 - ACME Business Consulting recently earned the prestigious Lighthouse Award from the Portland Business Journal, an honor given only to those companies that are included in the publication’s annual Fastest Growing Companies list for five consecutive years.

“One of our goals when we started the company in 2002 was to win a Lighthouse Award,” said Scott Demorest, a partner with ACME. “We knew we would need to be in business three years to qualify and then experience five consecutive years with 70 percent growth and we’re proud to say we have done just that.”

Based in Portland, Oregon the eight year old company is thriving, adding at least two new employees per month. They also have offices in San Francisco and Seattle and have plans for expansion to several other domestic markets.

ACME is strategically positioned to succeed in a down economy. They offer a very attractive service to companies concerned with managing their bottom line while also increasing revenue. They’ve experienced a 45 percent growth in the last 18 months when most businesses were adversely impacted by the economy.

“We are fortunate to enjoy a tremendous level of trust with our clients as they see us as part of their long term solutions,” said Peter Lizotte, a partner with ACME. “We attract and retain the best and most talented employees and that drives everything.”

ACME has been aggressive in diversifying their business verticals and geographic reach. They are better able to weather any economic cycles by servicing several industries including consumer products, healthcare, technology, government agencies, and public utilities. They are also increasing their geographic coverage with strategic growth into new markets. The company plans for steady growth in the Portland market but much of the incremental growth will be driven by continued expansion in new markets. ACME plans to be operating in a total of nine markets with a staff of more than 200 by 2014.
